Dental Hygienist

Granby Office

Homaira earned her Bachelor’s in Dental Hygiene in 1989 and has been with the Konikoff Family Dentistry team ever since. Homaira is passionate for helping her patients achieve their unique oral health goals while developing strong relationships with them. In her free time, she loves spending time with family and friends and is skilled in knitting.

Ingrid

Dental Hygienist

Granby Office

Graduated Clara Barton High School for Health Professionals in the Dental Assisting program in 1983.
Graduated as a Registered Dental Hygienist from SUNY at Farmingdale in 1985.

Ingrid was born in Guyana, South America and raised in Brooklyn, New York. She moved to Virginia in 1990 with her husband, now retired US Navy. Ingrid has been working as a Dental Hygienist at Konikoff Family Dentistry since 1991, and as her parents told her, “If you enjoy what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life.” She loves to follow the motto of caring for the whole person, not just their teeth. When she is not caring for her patients, she enjoys relaxing with her family, friends, cooking, and traveling.

Lisa

Dental Hygienist

Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene, Old Dominion University, 1984

Lisa graduated from Old Dominion University and has been a Dental Hygienist for almost 40 years, and has been with Konikoff Family Dentistry since 1986. Lisa has loved seeing the advancement in dental technology over the years, especially with digital radiographs that provide the dental team with clearer images in less time. In her free time, Lisa loves to garden, try out new recipes with the vegetables she grows, and listen to music.

Sarah

Dental Hygienist

Brambleton Office

Sarah graduated Old Dominion University’s Dental Hygiene program in 2012, received her Masters in Public Health in 2022, and joined Konikoff Family Dentistry in early 2024. Sarah is passionate for providing thorough and gentle dental care and being able to personalize care to patients’ needs. She finds inspiration through reading about philosophy and the practices of Buddhism including gratitude, non-attachment, and being present in the moment. “You are not a drop in the ocean; you are the entire ocean in a drop.” -Rumi

Jennifer

Dental Hygienist

Jen graduated from Old Dominion University’s Dental Hygiene program and has been with Konikoff Family Dentistry since 2018. Jen has a passion for helping people be their most healthy. In her free time, Jen enjoys watching her family play volleyball together.

Joey

Dental Hygienist

Brambleton Office

Joey graduated from Coleman College’s Dental Hygiene program and joined Konikoff Family Dentistry in 2022. Joseph loves that his role as a dental hygienist allows him to see his patients’ smiles improve with each visit.

In his free time, Joseph loves the outdoors: camping, hiking, attending beach festivals, or simply spending time with his dogs.

Lora

Dental Hygienist

Lora joined Konikoff Family Dentistry as a dental hygienist after graduating from Old Dominion University’s Dental Hygiene program in 2022. Lora loves being a hygienist because of the opportunity to meet new patients and to educate them on their oral health.

Lora is a self-proclaimed foodie and loves to try new recipes and visit new restaurants, and also loves watching documentaries and all things art.
